Professional Experience
Software Engineer, Meta
New York, NY | July 2025 – Present
- Shipped 10+ monetization and product experiments across Facebook's iOS client and backend in first year, driving $100M+ in incremental annual revenue while owning features from implementation through launch and measurement.
- Build features end-to-end across Swift and Objective-C client code, Hack/PHP services, GraphQL APIs, server-side experiment gating, and product instrumentation, enabling complex behavior to be tested and iterated without repeated client releases.
- Ship production changes across core, high-traffic Facebook surfaces including News Feed and video experiences, building and evolving shared playback and presentation infrastructure used by sponsored content at Facebook scale.
- Own experiment measurement end-to-end, from exposure logic and impression-level instrumentation through querying large-scale datasets, interpreting results, and partnering with product and data teams on go/no-go and iteration decisions.
- Improve reliability and maintainability across shared product surfaces by replacing fragile runtime GraphQL patterns with type-safe interfaces and restructuring complex video interactions into clean, testable components.
- Drive Objective-C-to-Swift modernization as a top migration contributor across the Monetization org, while building internal Claude Code tooling and leading an AI-focused engineering program to improve developer workflows.
iOS Engineer, Senseye
Austin, TX | April 2022 – July 2025
- Joined as employee #25 and served as the sole iOS engineer, building a clinical diagnostic application from the ground up for patients and clinicians participating in IRB-approved PTSD studies.
- Built Vision and AVFoundation systems for camera alignment, depth feedback, 4K video capture, heart-rate analysis, and offline-first recording, achieving full data recovery in low-connectivity clinical environments.
- Replaced hardcoded study protocols with a remotely configurable architecture and automated the release pipeline with Xcode Cloud and TestFlight, reducing study iteration time from weeks to under 24 hours.
